Did you have your say?
Thank you so much to every student who made the time to talk to us on Have Your Say Day 2024! There were so many great conversations – from sharing your views on module structure to co-creating a cartoon script about students feeling welcome at the OU. It was great to hear from international students and students in Ireland, Scotland and Wales about the issues that matter to you. And we were really pleased to talk about the experience of those of you studying joint honours, of racially minoritised students and of those of you studying at higher intensity. One of our highlights was hearing your questions direct to the Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ian Pickup and senior representatives from all the faculties.
What happens next?
Your feedback will be gathered together and used by session organisers to inform next steps and decision-making. We will send you an update in the coming weeks with an update on actions taken or planned as a result of your feedback.
If you attended, or didn’t attend, the Have Your Say session on a Cartoon for Student Policies, you can still tell us your feedback via a discussion forum until Sunday 1 December.
All those attending at least one session will be put in a prize draw to be allocated a voucher or a hoodie.
Have your say day is not your only opportunity to get involved! Please keep an eye on your emails for invitations to give feedback through surveys, join student panels and get more involved in your Students Association.
