Get involved with OU student consultation in March 2022
Student Consultation online meetings being held throughout March are a great opportunity to make a difference to the experience of studying at the OU and to meet other students and staff and share your views.
The meetings are organised in partnership with the Students Association and will be hosted by OU staff. Dates are as follows:
At the meetings, we’ll be asking for your input on a few different questions relating to your experience as a student. We’ll be asking you to consider what are the most challenging points in your studies, and how they can be overcome – perhaps through support you welcome or would like to see from the OU, or maybe through techniques you have developed yourself.
Since March 2020, the university has had to change its approach and has been facilitating remote exams. This is a very different experience and provides an opportunity to think about how exams are taken in the future. Whether you have experienced an OU exam or not, your feedback and thoughts on the delivery of end of module assessments and exams will influence how this is done in the future.
The final session will be hosted by the Open University Students Association and is an opportunity to talk further with student representatives about the consultations and to find out more about the Association’s work, as well as other opportunities to get involved.
A summary of the feedback you give will be reviewed by senior staff in the University, informing them on how best to make improvements to your study experience and support you in achieving your goals.
Places are limited and will be allocated to ensure that students from across our diverse student body are able to attend.
To avoid missing out, please sign up by 13 February 2022 or alternatively, if you have any questions, please email student-consultation-office@open.ac.uk
We aim to respond to applications week commencing 21 February 2022 to confirm whether you have been allocated a place.
