  • At the consultations we’ll be asking for your input on two different topics. 2020 was a difficult and very different year. COVID-19 meant the University had to change its approach to tuition resulting in a different student experience to previous years. We’d like to learn from your experiences of tuition to find out what has worked and what has not worked for students. Your feedback is vital in order to help ensure we consider lessons learnt from the impact of the pandemic and what areas you think we should think about in informing any future plans for Tuition.

We’ll also be asking you to share your thoughts on the future of the OU as we develop the new University strategy. We are very keen to make sure that it is informed by as wide a range of student perspectives as possible.

The final session will be hosted by the Open University Students Association and is an opportunity to talk further with student representatives about the consultations, to ask any questions that are on your mind, and to find out more about the Association’s work and other opportunities to get involved.

A summary of the feedback you give will be reviewed by senior staff in the University to inform how best to make improvements to your study experience and support you in achieving your goals.
