Student Consultatioin Meetings 2025
In April, we will be hosting our annual Student Consultation Meetings. This year, we will be going face-to-face in Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Leeds, London and on campus in Milton Keynes. Alongside these face-to-face events, there will be online Meetings!
Student Consultation Meetings are a great opportunity to share your ideas and feedback on various OU projects, meet your fellow students, and make a difference to the student experience at the OU.
We will be sharing more information on how to apply to attend one of the Meetings next month, but for now, you can save the date. The Meetings will be taking place between 5-12 April.
We also like to thank the students who give their thoughts on potential topics for the Meetings from the last newsletter. We are currently finalising the agenda and the topics selected will be shared alongside how to apply to attend one the Meetings very soon!
Student Consultation Online Forum: International Students
We are currently running a Student Consultation Online Forum for International Students:
• International Students' Wellbeing - 3 February to 14 February
This consultation is being run as part of the OU Students Association’s work on Student Wellbeing, which has been identified as a priority area by our Student Leadership Team. In this consultation, we would like to get your views on how you understand Wellbeing. For example, whether there are specific ideas or activities that you might associate with wellbeing.
A key aim of this consultation is to identify the ways in which we can improve our engagement with international students. We want our services and events to be relevant to our membership outside of the UK, and we need your feedback in order to do this!
Please note that all questions are specific to your engagement with the OU Students Association: this would cover areas such as volunteering, attending events, and being part of Societies and Clubs. This consultation does not cover your studies – for study-related aspects, please contact your Module Team and Student Support Team.

Have Your Say Day
Have Your Say Day was a fantastic day on 27 November 2024, where students told us their thoughts and ideas on a range of topics from: sustainability, module design to flexible study intensity.
We are pleased to share the response to your feedback from each of the Have Your Say Day Sessions. We will also give you further updates throughout the year on the changes made from your feedback!
