Graduate Internship Placements

The Open University and the Students Association are offering recent graduates of the Open University the opportunity to be challenged and to develop their personal, professional and transferable skills.

The Open University will be looking for individuals with drive and determination to engage positively with OU staff and students and assist in the delivery of significant OU projects and objectives. You will be a driven individual with the passion for the role and a want to utilise your experience to get you started in your future career. You will also have a desire to engage other students and share your experiences as an OU student. By using your skills and ideas you can help improve what we do by bringing new ideas and perspectives.

We expect from a graduate:

  • Need a chance to take the first step of your career ladder or develop your career
  • Want to pursue a career in line with your newly gained qualification
  • Want the opportunity to prove yourself
  • Have a passion for the role offered and want to pursue a career after the internship
  • Willing to be open and share your experiences of being an OU student, and make use of your study experience in an OU work context
  • Willing to write a regular peer-to-peer blog to share your experience with current students

Eligibility

You must be a recent graduate of the Open University (graduated 2017, 2016, 2015 from either an Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree) or students who are due to graduate in 2018.
