Get involved with OU Student Consultation Meetings in March 2026!

Get involved in shaping your Open University study and tell us your ideas at the student consultations this March, in-person and online, and make a difference to the current and future student and learner experience.

The meetings are a great opportunity to meet other students and be part of the wider OU community. Last year, students influenced the rewrite of the Student Charter and gave feedback on the AI Digital Assistant. You can read the OU’s response to student feedback on the Student Voice website.

To sign up to a face-to-face Meeting, simply complete this form by Friday 6 March. We're hosting meetings at Cardiff, Belfast, Edinburgh, Manchester, London and our Milton Keynes campus.

If you can’t make a face-to-face meeting, join one of our topic‑focused online meetings. Register at the online meetings registration webpages.

What will the meetings discuss?

We’ll be running interactive sessions where you will:

• contribute to OU’s thinking on assessment design, including assessment that safeguards academic integrity in an AI world,
• discuss how the new University strategy reflects student priorities, and
• consider how to build a community of students and staff that meets student needs.

Open SU will be asking about online vs face‑to‑face invigilated exams and for views on the benefits and barriers of volunteering for OU students.

What happens to your feedback?

Student feedback from our 2025 meetings is already being acted upon by the University. The Student Consultation Meetings 2025 response has more detail about how your feedback last year is making improvements to the student experience.
