Student Voice Week Wrap Up
With over 2,000 registrations and 25 separate sessions throughout the week, this year’s mammoth Student Voice Week has been one to remember.
We discussed everything from the University’s strategy and sustainability to mental health and the new Mumentum project. Students rated Student Voice Week 4.3 out of 5 overall and also rated their ability to give feedback highly, at 4 out of 5 on average.
Here’s some of what students had to say:
- “OU Pride and the teams involved put on an amazing session… everyone was so inviting and well informed”
- “This was really interactive and I really like the range of views and information that was received”
- “Wonderful to see so much engagement from other students attending”
Session organisers will be taking all your feedback on board to improve the student experience for current and future students. If you have any more feedback to share on Student Voice Week or the individual sessions, please do so at this form.
What’s next for Student Voice?
We are pleased to confirm that we will be running in-person Student Consultation Meetings in March 2026, with meetings in London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, and each of the Nations. More details will follow in the new year.
We’re also busy with Student Consultation Online Forums, where students are invited to share their feedback on different parts of their student experience directly with the staff responsible for it. You can get involved with and view the archive of our Student Consultation Forums by visiting this link
